The official card gallery has a new promo: Héctor Rivera – Gone to Pieces from Coco. It’s numbered 13/D23, a D23 promo from Set 14, Hyperia City.

The card
- Ruby character, cost 4, inkable
- Strength 5, willpower 3, lore 1
- Storyborn • Mentor
- Art by César Vergara
Singer 6 (This character counts as cost 6 to sing songs.)
FEEL THE MUSIC While you have a song card in your discard, this character gets +1 and gains Evasive. (Only characters with Evasive can challenge them.)
How to use it
- Sing 6-cost songs for 4: Singer 6 lets Héctor exert to sing songs that cost 6 or less for free, 2 more than his own cost.
- Stronger after one song: a song goes to your discard once it’s played, and from then on Héctor gets +1 and Evasive — a 2-lore Evasive character that only Evasive characters can challenge.
- 5 strength: a lot for a 4-cost character, but with 3 willpower he’s easy to banish in a challenge.
With Set 14’s Singer cards
A few Set 14 cards work with Singer characters like Héctor:
- Goofy – Enthusiastic Tourist (Ruby, cost 1): gets +3 while you have a character with Singer in play
- Speaker Stack (Amber item, cost 2): your characters with Singer get +1 and +1 , making Héctor 6 strength and 4 willpower
Watch out for the opponent’s Lady Tremaine – Scornful Snob (Ruby, cost 3): her HARSH CRITIQUE makes opposing characters with Singer enter play with 1 damage, so Héctor is banished by just 2 more damage.
